Dr. Raquel is excited to bring Gonstead chiropractic care to families in Ocala. She takes time to listen, explain her findings, and answer questions, with a focus on precise, individualized adjustments. She opened Palmetto Chiropractic’s Ocala office after seven years working alongside Dr. John Neff in Clermont, Florida.

A Missouri native raised in Wentzville, Dr. Raquel earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of Missouri–Columbia. After working in competitive horse training, she pursued a career in chiropractic, earning her Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic in 2018.

While at Logan, she discovered her passion for the Gonstead System and pursued additional training through the Logan Gonstead Intern Program. She has completed more than 300 hours of Gonstead-specific seminars, with mentorship from Dr. Jeff Lawlor, Dr. Richard Cranwell, and Drs. Hilary and Derrijk Hollon.

Dr. Raquel also brings her lifelong interest in animals to her professional work. She graduated from the 226-hour program at Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic and holds animal chiropractic certifications from the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) and the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA). She provides mobile animal chiropractic services for horses, dogs, cats, cattle, and hogs.

When she’s away from the clinic, Dr. Raquel enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, riding horses, and caring for the family’s pets.
